Both of us had less-than-stellar music for our 1st respective nuptials
and wanted a killer band. Boy did we get it. Fantastic Performance, no other way
to put it. The guests - musicians and non-musicians alike - were in Wedding Bash
Nirvana - a ten piece with a horn section! The band was spot-on and highly professional - and the soundman I hired
for the event was equally impressed by them. He said that he hadn't had that
much fun mixing a band in years, because they were just so good and a great
time.
If you are into the Motown/Funk era of music, you will
love this band. Everyone at my wedding sure did! Heartfelt THANKS to THE GROOVE
STREET BAND - You made our reception the party we wanted it to be!" - Doug and Brenda
"Dude!
That was awesome!! Heard so many compliments on the band that night!!!
Even my
wife kept saying ‘You know, these guys are really good’ Thanks for
providing the background for a great time Saturday!" - Tony M.
"I have seen a lot of bands in my 25 years in the music biz, and I can honestly say I have never seen a tighter, more professional Motown/Funk/R&B band than the Groove Street Band. They deliver a high impact. high energy show each and every time!! If you want to dance the night away to some of your favorite songs, see them each and every time they are around, you WILL NOT be disappointed!!" - Mike Clancey, bass player in Drive South aka The GrooveMaster
